The Doctors Of Blood and Creativity
Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez are at it again as this Friday Grindhouse hits theaters. Since Pulp Fiction (academy award) in 1994, Hostel, Kill Bill 1/2, Reservoir Dogs, and Daltry Calhoun, Tarantino has become a practical household name. These movies are always suspenseful, intriguing, and leave the mind guessing what will come next. Thus, the blood shed never stops and the fight scenes are spectacular; Grindhouse will be no different. "Grindhouse"-noun- a downtown movie theater-in catastrophic conditions since its glory days as a movie palace of the 30's and 40's, known for "grinding out" double-bill programs of B movies continuously. The director's favorite exploitation films are intertwined in their witty and creative handy work. This will become the ultimate experience for movie lovers as "Grindhouse" will be presented as a full-length feature comprised of two individual films. One is directed by Tarantino and is called Death Proof, where a chase ensues between a killer and his victims with the weapon being a car, and Rodriguez's film explores the boundaries of an alien world creepily familiar to our reality in this present time in Planet Terror. This movie as it says in the previews, "will tear you in two!" It is rate R for strong graphic/bloody violence and gore, pervasive language, sexuality, and drug use. So definitely one not to take the kids to. With a great cast and a once in a lifetime experience to witness a rebirth/re innovation of a double-bill program as performed in the early 1900's, movie lovers do not miss this movie, Tarantino/Rodriguez fans do not miss this movie. I'll give it a pre-rating of 3 tickets and that is probably as high as I can see it go, yet again I'd love to be proved wrong. There hasn't been much hype about this movie so I'm intrigued to see what happens and visit Grindhousemovie.net for more information before it is unleashed tomorrow. Society, be prepared to have your mind boggled and split. Enjoyyy! PLEASE POST YOUR COMMENTS PRIOR TO AND AFTER. THANKS!
