Big Willie Style
When I mention the movies such as Old School, Anchorman, Elf, or Taladega Nights, what comes to mind? Well it should've been Will Ferrell. Personally speaking, I believe that Will Ferrell is the best comedic actor of the 21st century hands down. His roles in various movies create quotes or lines that are timeless and within which individuals always recite. In turn, ever since Napoleon Dynamite skyrocketed in its popularity, Jon Heder has become a flourishing actor and everyone is starting to take a liking to the roles he plays in movies. This upcoming Friday, March 30th, will be no different as an abundance of individuals flock in mass quantities to witness Blades of Glory. This PG-13 movie stars an amazing cast including Will Ferrell, Jon Heder, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, William Fichtner, Jenna Fischer, and others and the laugh fest will be persistent from beginning to end . The plot deals with two rival figure skaters, Chazz Michael Michaels (Will Ferrell) and Jimmy MacElroy (Jon Heder), who are stripped of their gold medals and banned from the sport for life after their antics or fighting at the World Championships. Years later, after a loophole is discovered their love of the sport will have to bring them literally together, as the only way they can both compete is in pair's figure skating. This movie will be high on the box office charts and will make a tsunami wave in the dollar department. My pre-rating for the movie will be 3 to 3.5 stars. Go to the movie site, Blades of Glory for more information. Please post your opinions!

TMNT: Turtle Power is Back!
Who would've thought that after almost a decade or more of separation from these green, crime fighting/pizza loving turtles, that they would make a debut back into the movie world (they must be in high demand). Anyways, TMNT is released this Friday and is rated PG, so the whole family can enjoy the whole skeptical. Now in my adolescent years I grew up with these turtles, watching hours upon hours of the TMNT movies and playing with their memorabilia. Even though this up coming movie may have more special effects or state of the art animation technology, I do not feel that it will surpass the success or fade it created in the early nineties, especially with their first movie (best one). The plot of the movie revolves around how the Turtles have grown distanced from one another after defeating Shredder. The rat sensei, Master Splinter, becomes apprehensive however when strange occurrences begin to occur in the Big Apple and wants the crew to reunite. Only the likes of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael can be a match for the mass army of ancient monsters being amassed by Tech-industrialist, Max Winters. Thus, old allies April O'Neil and Casey Jones join in the escapade. The mysterious ninja group, Foot Clan, and the massive army look to accomplish their aims, but their is one roadblock in the way, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and animated violence or action ensues from here. I'm willing to give this movie a pre-rating of 2 tickets, but tell me your opinions and remember it comes out this Friday, March 23, and go to the movie website, TMNT, for more information prior to viewing. Thanks!

Wild Hogs - Great Fun
A few weeks ago, after much ado, the family friendly movie Wild Hogs was released. Packed full of stars such as John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawerence, and William H. Macy, this movie is one of my top picks of comedies this year. The plot is pretty simple; four friends from four very different lives decide to get on their bikes for a good old fashioned road trip to the coast. Along the way, they encounter rainstorms, tent fires, and one very intimidating cop. But none of these problems are as bad as a whole entire biker gang is after the friends after Travolta's character sets fire to their bar. The guys find refuge, and even love, in a small town. But trouble finds them there too. After a viscous "battle" the biker gang goes away and the town is saved. The guys finish their trip, and all ends well. This movie is hilarious and I reccomend it to everyone from ages 10 to 100.

300 - Exceeding Expectations
Besides accumulating a whopping 70 million dollars this weekend, the movie 300 was amazing. It had awesome fight scenes, drama, and was quite close to being historically accurate too. (Minus the weird-looking Imortals and the fact that Xerxes was 7 feet tall and looked like a female from the neck up). The plot is quite simple: the king of Sparta wants to go to war against Xerxes instead of surrendering to him. Sparta's laws and council members will not let him, so he decides to go to war unofficially with 300 of his greatest men. After some amazing fight scenes and thousands of dead bodies, the 300 have all been killed. Sparta learns of this, and a year later, their entire army meets at the same pass to defeat Xerxes. All in all, this was a great action movie. Tell us what you thought!

Reel Time Answer of the Week
Will Smith states, "I gotta get me one of these," as he blasts off into outer space to tackle on the aliens. Again, stay tuned for next week's reel time question of the week, which will be dealing with the movie Jumanji.
